more:portal - Macro Cash & Carry, now!

WebService has deployed new edition of www.makro.pl portal for the biggest wholesale dealer in Poland – Makro Cash and Carry. The deployment and website start took place in May and June.
This is another successful application of more:portal®.CMS – WebService solution. Except standard CMS functionality more:portal®.CMS provides over 50 modules allowing to extend the website with non-standard features. The following works have been conducted in the project:
- pre-deployment analysis,
- implementation works in CMS,
- integration of CMS with advanced statistical system GEMIUS (using dynamic communication with GEMIUS API),
- operating system configuration including performance tuning.
The new website of Makro Cash and Carry is more elaborate than the previous edition and it is based on METRO corporate layout. Thanks to correct ergonomics, the website gained on clarity and easier navigation. Additionally the CMS deployment allows Makro editors to fully manage the content.
The module for promotional actions and offers has been added, which can be assigned to any number of rooms. This makes data entering and functioning of the website more effective. Evolution of website pages is also supported by two innovative wizards: forms and surveys. Thanks to the wizards, the editors can include any forms and surveys created by them in the website. The editors can also create new photo galleries, job classifieds, and adding assortments. Makro Cash and Carry is highly flexible in managing content and expanding the website. The editor does not need specialist CMS system knowledge. The only skill necessary to place the content on the website is ability to use the web browser.
Last year WebService has created websites and portals for companies such as: PGNiG, Purmo, PGF, TP Emitel, Altadis, Fortis,Lasy Państwowe Gdańsk, Maspex.
